A novel technology platform based on DNA nanoball arrays (Stereo-seq)

Spatial_lrg.jpg

In a publication in Cell, a novel spatiotemporal analytic package is described in which the gene expression can be studied at a subcellular level using a technology platform based on nanoballs distributed on an array with single cell resolution. The platform combines high spatial sensitivity with large field of view, and the publication reports its use to generate a spatially resolved transcriptomic atlas of mouse organogenesis. The study is an international collaboration with researchers from China, USA and Europe, including the Swedish universities KTH-Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institutet at SciLifeLab in Stockholm...Read more

A single cell type map of human tissues

Press release figure v2.jpg

In a study published in the US journal Science Advances, a single cell type map of human tissues is presented. An open access atlas has been launched with more than 250,000 interactive plots to allow researchers to explore the expression in individual single cell types for all protein-coding genes in these tissues...Read more

The version 20 of the open access Human Protein Atlas has been launched today, adding a new Single Cell Type Atlas to allow the exploration of gene expression in 192 single human cell types...Read more

Single cells within tumor and metastasis harbor genetic differences

Blog_image.png

Over time, cells accumulate DNA mutations, that if transcribed and translated influence gene expression and/or function of the protein. The increasing number mutations in eg. genes that control cell division eventually lead formation of tumor...Read more
