PROTEIN EVIDENCE

The protein evidence shows a chromosome-centric summary of the evidence for protein existence for all predicted human protein-coding genes. The HPA evidence shows data presented here with protein evidence for antibodies with a supportive validation. Transcript evidence indicates that this gene has been identified by the transcriptomics analysis in at least one of the cells or tissues. No evidence means that no experimental data supporting its existence have been gathered. Similarly, the UniProt and neXtProt evidence is a summary of respective annotation performed by the UniProt and neXtProt consortia. The MS data is a summary of the data assembled in the Peptide Atlas and the Evidence summary is the combined data from the four different annotation platforms. Click on a chromosome bar and the evidence summary for each gene along the chromosome will be displayed.
